Empowering those with disability to enjoy the fun of the Bathurst Winter Festival
Bathurst Regional Council has partnered with LiveBetter to provide ice skating sessions for people with disability and their families. A number of skating sessions will run on Wednesday 5 July with a reduced capacity and volunteers from LiveBetter on hand to help out. Our aim is to ensure people of all abilities can be part of the Bathurst Winter Festival, in a safe and supported environment.
Time: 9 am, 10 am, 11 am and 12 pm
Cost: $5 per person (carers do not require a ticket)

Wheelchair Access is available into the Café building next to the Ice Rink via a ramp.
Illuminations will be displayed each night of the festival from dusk until 10 pm at:
• Bathurst Court House
• Court House Lane
• The Fernery, Machattie Park
• The Cathedral of St Michael & St John
• Ribbon Gang Lane
• Australian Fossil & Mineral Museum, Howick Street
Wheelchair access is available along the footpaths near each of the Illumination locations.
Festival Nights: 1 July and 8 July
Disabled access on the Festival Nights is available via Crn George Street and Russell Street.
Disabled parking is available on George Street and RSL car park
